If everyone drove through green lights like they were yellow a lot more people would get through the lights. You got that right. There are far too many imbeciles here that actually hit their brakes before entering a green light intersection!

What else but this would you expect from BU's College of Communication? After all, their most esteemed cum laude graduate in economics is none other than crazy eyes AOC.

Everything in the entire universe is either a potato or not a potato. Not to be confused with Ranger06's "Tertium non est". I think his motto said in Latin something like "Lead or follow. A third does not exist."
Kind of close, but there is a third option. Aut disce, aut discede; manet sors tertia, caedi. = “Either learn or depart; a third choice remains—to be flogged.” - Motto, of the Schoolroom, Winchester College, St Mary's College www.british-history.ac.uk/report.asp?compid=42044"On the west wall a huge tablet contains the famous jingle Aut disce, aut discede, manet sors tertia caedi. Above Aut disce are the rewards of learning, the mitre and crozier; above Aut discede the resort of those who departed, the sword and the pen and ink-horn; while above Manet sors tertia caedi, the last word of which is in large letters, 'the third lot to be flogged,' is the 'bibling rod.' The lines and probably the emblems were on the wall of the old school." This passage is found toward the bottom, 5 paragraphs above the picture of the Winchester House.

it is perfectly fine to eat fries with ketchup but an absolute hate crime to put ketchup on mashed potatoes. I disagre. Ketchup is beastial. Use hot sauce for both. I recommend Zatarain's.

Idiot Biden is doing really well. He's unopposed on his Senate run. "Where I come from, you don't go very far unless you ask. My name's Joe Biden. I'm a Democratic candidate for the United State's Senate. Look me over. If you like what you see, help out. If not, vote for the other Biden. Give me a look though, OK?" townhall.com/tipsheet/leahbarkoukis/2020/02/25/biden-gaffes-sc-n2561847

Went to visit my sister who lives in the Foley area this weekend. Got to cruise the beaches and had an awesome lunch at Lulu's. If you could have delayed until next week I'd meet you there. I've a conference at OB Sat-Wed.

Gabbard is already a vet a much better looking than Harris. Actually, she's the best looking of the whole gang. I used the word 'vet' as in check out references. People want background checks for gun purchases but have no problem letting illegals walk about our country with no checks. I don't understand the concept. Now they want to give illegals free healthcare while they want to fine me for not having coverage. What are they smoking? I already knew your meaning but thought you'd like the pun.
I am a combat vet but never fought a broad (abroad).

All of the sound bites from the candidates this morning are yelling for extensive background checks for gun ownership. Still crickets on the subject of illegal aliens. Shouldn't we vet them too? Gabbard is already a vet a much better looking than Harris. Actually, she's the best looking of the whole gang.

Democrats had their filibuster-proof Senate majority for only a short time, not for 2 years. I thought it was 6 wekks, but Ranger corrected me about that a year or two ago - I believe the correct number was 4 months - maybe you remember, Ranger. Besides that, it 56 Democrats, 2 Independents, and 2 DINOS who usually voted with Republicans.
Obama's term had Senate majorities the first 6 years. It takes 60 votes to invoke cloture under Senate Rule XXII. In the 111th Congress (1/09-1/11) they did have this number twice with 58 Dems and 2 Inds (7/09-8/09 and 9/09-2/10). Roughly, this was about 6 weeks the first time and 4 months the second. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/111th_United_States_CongressThe 112th Congress (1/11-1/13) had majority Dems + Inds, but 53 was the max number. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/112th_United_States_CongressThe 113th Congrees (1/13-1/15) had majority Dems + Inds, but 55 was the max number. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/113th_United_States_CongressThe 114thCongress (1/15-1/17) had majority GOP at 54. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/114th_United_States_Congress

What has Trump said or done to make you think he wants to be like Saudi Arabia? The only nations Trump has ever expressed admiration for are Saudi Arabia, Russia, North Korea, and China.
And obviously France as the inspiration for the latest 4th of July celebration.

Ranger06, I’m curious. What exactly do you like that Trump is doing? Hoofie pretty well nailed it.
Like Trump,Teddy wasn't the GOP's fair-haired child. In fact the powers that be in own state of NY wanted him out as their gov. VPOTUS looked safe until McKinley was assassinated and Teddy became the stodgy GOP's worst nightmare. He pushed them in so many areas and brought back a lot of the greatness of this country.
Looks like history is repeating itself.
BTW, glad to see you back.
