I gave you an Exalt this morning to test it out, bluetick. But it appears to have either disappeared or cancelled from an opposing Smite as there was only one showing this afternoon when LE posted.
Now, some two hours later, you were back to zero karma points so I nudged it again to see if it would allow me to do so.
If karma is this finicky and subject to other posters' eternal whims, I do not think we will find it either useful nor even telling.

There wasn't really a concept of "karma" in western society until Buddhism began to be explored. Usually, it was just called "what goes around, comes around."
The concept in the West, though, goes back ages. The Old Religion had what is called the Three-Fold-Law: that whatever harm you did to another would come back to you on three occasions, or three times as bad all at once.
Positive good works, though, live throughout eternity, as if you had planted a good seed that would sprout and give birth to other good works.
Look with favor on your fellow man, and do him good. My Daddy always taught me that if you can help somebody, do it. Don't take money. Just ask him to do something good for somebody else if they have the chance.
In that way, we move from being a society of capitalist takers to a society of social givers.
