What link do we use to view forum? Can someone post the correct link again. What an odd request. You're on the site, just bookmark it.

except in cases of direct threats of violence to another or some other serious infraction reaching that kind of level i'm not going to play baby sitter. we are all adults here and should behave like adults and be able to handle the snot throwing. Bravo, my good man! When a new student asked Gen. Robert E. Lee, newly-appointed president of Washington College in Lexington, VA, what the rules were, Gen. Lee replied, "Among gentlemen, sir, no rules are necessary. Among those who are not, no rules will suffice."

I'm not a fan of all the categories. Takes so much more time to check them all as opposed to just one and being able to simply scroll down one page to see what's new. JMHO I agree. I remember the News forums did the category thing for awhile in one incarnation, and we said something similar. So they went back to having just General and Dumping Grounds. Granted, the General was pages and pages and pages (what else would you expect after years of posting by thousands of people), but like pilot said, it was quicker. Wouldn't you rather have a category to go to and explore what you are interested in? If you were interested in Home Decorating, wouldn't you rather be able to see at a glance there was something there to interest you, and go directly there instead of having to wander through everything else anybody that had anything to say about anything had put out there?

Either way is fine. After glancing around more yesterday, I kind of like the categories, actually. Well-thought out. Thanks, john doe!

Is there a way to directly go to the last post on a thread? Right now, I have to click on the last page then scroll all the way down.

Is there a way to directly go to the last post on a thread? Right now, I have to click on the last page then scroll all the way down. There should be a little NEW icon on the left side of the title. If you click on it you will be taken to the first new post ( Most of the time, IF you actually click on the NEW and not right beside it)
