I guess the Donald figured out a way to keep it real without blowing sh** up. Good for him.

China has other trading partners for coal. NKorea badly needs trade partners for food. They just lost one.

If NK fires off a missile, I believe the carrier parked out there will shoot it down. It would not be wise to fire on the country unless the fool aims at SK, China, or Japan.

I've said all along that we shouldn't kid shoot down one of their missles. But I wasn't talking about that. I was asking about what if he tests another nuc. What then to do?

If he's blowing up his own dirt with nukes, there's nothing the US can do alone without escalating the tension. It's up to the pact that signed the nuke treaties to deal with NK as one unified front. Otherwise, it's just 2 bullies on the playground pushing each other back & forth.

Maybe someone can explain this concept to me in a way that makes sense. Both Russia and China have stated that N Korea is an important buffer country/property in protecting their prospective borders. And as such both countries are moving military might to the borders in the event the little dummy in Korea makes things more stupider. Isn't that like saying Rhode Island is important to the US as a buffer state against an invasion from Europe?

NK is that crappy neighbor with cars up on blocks in the front yard, and can be heard all hours of the day reving engines and honking horns. Why would anybody want to live near there or in there? Maybe instead of sending bombs, we should send books on what the world really looks like. Also, China's behavior toward NK has been bizarre.

I think that NK nutcase just wants attention. Everyone should just ignore him (but still watch closely and shoot any missiles down)

Well isn't it wonderful that the n Korea diggers and scientists are getting their exercise by playing volley ball. Good for them. And good for us too!!!! Maybe we should, Americans that is, should follow their example and get more exercise as well!!! Would go a long way to reducing the healthcare burden on the system if everyone tried a little harder to get and stay in shape.
By the way. I wonder where n Korea is digging the new hole to blow up nucs while we're watching them jump around. Hmmmmmm
