What do you folks in Alabama think about this? I believe the best outcome will be a serious discussion rather than "let's just deny life to a future citizen."

I responded to this yesterday, but I have no idea where it went. I have always believed that abortion, as a form of birth control, is wrong. I also think this law goes too far, especially not allowing a procedure after incest or rape, and it will probably be struck down in the courts. Abortion in the third trimester, other than for health complications for the mother or baby, is barbaric and an insult to the human race.
This day and age, there are other options, especially early in the pregnancy. There is the morning after pill and saline injections that are safer than abortion and effective early in the pregnancy cycle. Most women know when they "might" be pregnant (had unprotected sex) and should deal with it early in the cycle. Why wait?
