What exactly does this have to do with politics? Go back to the shallow end.

Ha! A judge did this and now let's spin it into a Republican Party policy, right? How many thousands of Republican judges don't do this?

Ha! A judge did this and now let's spin it into a Republican Party policy, right? How many thousands of Republican judges don't do this? Missed the part about WHO he was selling kids TO? The judge was using his power to imprison to send kids to a private prison. In exchange, developer Robert K. Mericle paid Ciavarella and another county judge, Michael T. Conahan, $2.8 million for lodging juveniles in two for-profit detention centers built by Mericle and co-owned by Powell. In other words, "Hi, kids. I've been bribed to send you to this jail over here. So, instead of a stern warning about the error of your ways and sending you home with Mom and Dad, these nice private security officers over here are going to handcuff you and drag you off to a prison cell. Let's just call it our privatized version of a Gitmo."

I saw the piece about this on one of the news shows, maybe 60 Minutes but not sure, when all this hit the fan a couple of years ago. I can't believe those places are still in business. Everyone involved should be hung out to dry.
