it's time we take a hardened approach to this mass shooting epidemic.
i say there should be an automatic death penalty (take the jury out of this decision in these cases) upon conviction and absolutely no mandatory appeals in cases involving mass shootings. i am normally against the death penalty because in most cases there is always doubt and death is permanent. in mass shootings however there is absolutely not a single sliver of doubt in the identity of the perpetrator. in these narrow cases there should be dire consequences for committing the criminal act regardless of what the motivation was or the perpetrators mental status.
there has to be some kind of deterrent to these mass shootings that is dire enough to make people think twice before picking up a firearm and going on a rampage.
this is getting ridiculous and something needs to give here,,,
either the penalties be severe or we harden and more rigorously enforce firearms laws.

I agree. Seems somebody could come up with a plan too at least cut down on these mass shootings.
I think maybe too up Mental Health programs ,its like most of these that have occurred are mental or just mean want too make innocent people suffer.
Strange how so many guns end up in the Mentally ill and evil peoples hands?
