Considering such things at this point is a waste of time John. Making camp gain promises before an election is one thing. But winning and then delivering in them is another.
It's like saying the opposite if Hillary had gotten elected. What would she have done behind our back. To me THATS the bigger worry.

Seems Trump has picked Dr. Ben Carson for Housing and whatever else that title holds.
What are your thoughts on that?
Remember Alabama Has the Dr. Bentley holding office from the past comments of him he has left a sour taste in some mouth!
Just saying! I know all are not the same,so we shall see? Does anyone else think the next four yrs. are going too be like riding the roller coasters at the amusement park.
Buckle up ,get ready for the ride.

I find it very humorous that those in the media are pushing the conflict of interest thing, like their buzzards flying over a body waiting for the first drop of blood to hit the pavement. It's like they want him to all of a sudden become poor to be POTUS. But the thing is this. Transitioning into the White House takes time. At the same time transitioning out of Trump Holding takes time. But it just never occurrs to the looser to take him at his word and be patient.
And all this crap about his daughter! What do the liberal meat heads want her to do! Disown her father just because she's rich and he the President of the United States?
Has a unique ring to it doesn't it. Donald Trump, The President of the United States of America. Hagahahahahahha. I can see liberals all over this county shivering in their shorts when I say that.

I am still at odds as too why people are so upset about Trump getting president? He is not the first republican too be president?
Was thinking lets see what happens first then start judging. Seems if we put up with the Bush's(republicans) for so many yrs.then Obama(Dem) we as a nation can conquer most anything!
Not much good came from either of these parties.

So far all I see is him appointing a bunch of anti education, anti constitution, White supremacist bigots to his administration along with promised attacks on Medicare and Medicare and tax cuts for the rich. You win jorg, Trump still loves the uneducated "loosers".

snakebit, your misguided vision of Trump's activity including appointing "White supremacist bigots" is followed by an attack on Dr. Ben Carson?
It's the season of mercy. Try to participate.

If you ran a small business, would you do any work for Trump without getting paid in full up front?
You'd be a fool if you did. Trump thinks it's being smart to stiff his workers and contractors. After all, it's bad business to pay what you owe if you can get away without paying it.
There's no end to the stories out there, from salaried workers to small businesses to big high end businesses.
We've had rich businessmen as presidents before, like Herbert Hoover, but this is the first time we've had one whose methods were so dishonest and unethical. He's not only unethical, he's proud of it.

We've gotten a couple of clues this week what Trump will be like in office.
First, he made a "deal" with Carrier to keep 800 jobs in Indiana of the 2100 they were planning to move to Mexico. Details are not public, but the experts say the carrot in the deal was almost certainly a tax benefit package which Mike Pence, as governor of Indiana, had the authority to offer to Carrier.
Second, he went on a twitter rant about the cost of the Boeing program to develop the next generation of Air Force One presidential planes to replace the current 30-year-old models. "Cancel that order," he said. It puzzled everybody for a while, but then someone noticed that his tweet went out within an hour after a story came out about the Boeing CEO being critical of Trump on foreign trade.
So the big story in the news for a week was how Trump was already saving American jobs, even before he is in office. Who even noticed the other story that 180,000 other jobs were created during the month, and that is happening every month, month after month. So those 800 jobs were an insignificant drop in the bucket for the economy, yet Trump has managed the news, like he did all through the campaign. The media is complicit, giving the news space to Trump, and the public is acting stupid, not seeing through the scam that Trump is pulling.
The second story is even more troubling. It shows that Trump has no qualms at all about using the power of his position to carry out his petty vengeance against those he doesn't like.
I keep hoping to see some sign that Trump will move away from his circus tactics, and act as president in the interests of the nation. But so far there is no such sign. Trump is out for Trump - it has never been any different in the past, and it looks like it will never be any different in the future.

(To coin a phrase). Or the last one?

Ok Do you think Obama was any less adept at doing so? In my opinion, your comments show just how the media needs to be controlled. They desperately thrive on drama and in the lack of it make up their own. Trump is just giving them what they want and working in the background. Quit drinking the media cool aid.

(To coin a phrase). Or the last one? You're delusional if you think Trump is equivalent to any other president in this regard. Trump has made it his trademark to refuse to pay what he owes. He is so bad, Wall Street quit loaning money to him. Back in 2010 or so, when Trump's $320M payment came due on Trump Tower to Deutsche Bank, he refused to pay, and sued them, saying that they were complicit in the 2008 financial crisis that was causing trouble for Trump, and for that reason, Trump didn't owe them anything. Now Trump is going to charge the Secret Service $300,000 per month for space for all the security and communication equipment and personnel they must install in Trump Tower so that Donald and Melania can live in luxury in the middle of Manhattan. Plus, the taxpayers are paying $1M per day for security outside the building. Having Trump as president, right from the get-go, is going to cost the country more than all previous presidents combined. That's not even counting the cost of all the damage Trump is going to do to the nation.
