The Democrat leaders have brought the meaning of rudeness to a new level. Political sides have always disagreed, but behaved politely at public events. Just like those certain family gatherings you hate to go to, but do anyhow to 'keep the peace'. It was despicable the way they just sat there when honoring a dead serviceman and everyone else in the room gave a standing ovation.
The video of the widow crying and the liberal leaders sitting on their hands will be played through the 2018 mid term elections. All they had to do is politely stand up and pretend to care, but they instead chose to act like the stubborn 3 year old that wants candy for breakfast and has been told no. These are our leaders? They are not even adults.

Some congressional Dems who remained seated were joined by military leaders who apparently also objected to Putins puppet exploiting the death of a fellow military man. Perhaps they were also upset that the cheeto in chief choose to monitor the failed mission while at a dinner party rather than from a secure "situation room" as real commanders in chief have done in the past. www.rt.com/usa/379079-democrats-trump-seal-tribute/

Whoaaaaa, I'm dizzy from that last spin. What the hell was that? A snakenado?
Here's what I wonder. Out of the thousands of military ops on the ground during Obummers watch how many of them did he take time away from running the country to watch? Hmmmm
But never mind that.
What I read in snakes comment was that he approves of the childish behavior exhibited by some democrats during a standing ovation honoring out military.
Hoofie is right. Demo's better be scared come mid terms. This gonna come back to haunt them.

Demo's better be scared come mid terms. This gonna come back to haunt them. It really depends on how the Republicans do until then. Trump did not win because he is some saint that the people couldn't wait to elect. He instead won because he was an unknown and we all knew Clinton and we knew what to expect with her running the show. Some think she was more Obama, but she would have been much worse with her baggage. No matter how it is spun. Still, 55 percent of the population makes under $30k a year, People are still paying way to much for health insurance, College costs are still out of control and so on. People are watching to see what the government is going to do for the people instead of for the 1%. If they do nothing it is my belief their (the Republicans) success will be short lived.

If they do nothing it will be what we've seen the last six years or so, or worse. The middle class will continue to shrivel up and join the ranks of the lower class and unemployed. They will scream for entitlements and the rich will continue to get richer. The only difference will be who pays when the middle class dies.

You have made good points, (welcome, by the way). Compare what's happened in the last 6 weeks to the last 6 years. If the administration can stay clean imagine what can be accomplished once the cabinet is complete. And I'll repeat that Trump only won because he ran against Clinton. Can you imagine where we would be if Cruz had won the nomination instead of Trump? Oh, and the National Debt went down $12 billion. PSS: Welcome to the forum. Please return.

Some day you'll be taken seriously. Oh, and it'll be interesting to see what happens to those 'military chiefs' since their commander was the one speaking.

Nothing is going to happen to those 'military chiefs' as they did exactly what tey are required to do. Stay apolitical. www.thebalance.com/military-folks-and-politics-3332818A while back the left was crying that the Joint Chiefs dissed their idol when they stayed stoney faced while Obama patted himself on the back again.

I'm certainly touched to see how concerned our Southern good old boys here are about others showing proper respect for this Gold star widow. Strangely though I don't remember any of you expressing your outrage when little donnie small hands was attacking another Gold star family, the Kahns.
Of course the Kahns and their dead son are non White Muslims, Mrs. Owens is White and, presumably, xian and this forum is from the Old South.

An interesting point about the Kahns, until you find their connection to the Clintons, the Clinton Foundation, and their involvement in the 'Muslim migration'. However, I will agree that Trump was out of line on that one.

Carryn Owen was a special invitee at Trump's speech to Congress to honor her husband. Khizr Kahn's speech at the DNC was not to honor his fallen son nor that of his honorable service, but to falsely attack Trump's position on immigration. Kahn made himself a target when he entered the political arena with an ax to grind - and got blasted. www.cnn.com/2016/07/30/politics/donald-trump-khizr-kahn-response/index.html
