I don't know that I would call it a church. I don't like that term at all. A congregation, yes. I think the congregation and sense of community is a good thing. Link

Link "I don't know that I would call it a church."That is probably because you don't know the true origins of the word "church". I'll bet you think that should apply only to a Christian place of worship. But, like so much that makes up the Christian religion, pagan things were simply seized and claimed to cease to be "pagan" and now became "christian."

I did some quick research and found every definition of church, I could find, said Christian. While there maybe, as you point out, a foopah on my part. It seems that modern day understanding related to Church as a Christian place of worship just as a Synagogue would be accepted as a Jewish place of worship and a Mosque...well you get my meaning.

Any time a group of like-minded people come together to express gratitude, compassion and caring, to plan activities to better the world and help those less fortunate, it is a good thing.
