This is the kind of manipulated misinformation that supporters of bigotry have been spewing out ever since Fox News went into business, and even before with the right wing talk radio of Bob Grant, Barry Farber, etc.
Anyone paying attention knows that voting rights advocates are not complaining about New York City being a hotbed of disenfranchisement. So why did the conservative propagandist go to NYC to ask people if they had trouble getting their votes counted? Obviously, he did it because his intent was to make a deceptive video. Why didn't he go to some place where black voters have been purged from voting rolls in large numbers, or some place where minority neighborhoods have had 5-hour waiting times to get to the voting booth, or some place where it's not unusual for people to live out their entire lives outside the prosperous mainstream of our society?
Why did he choose to go to the most cosmopolitan black community in the nation and interview upscale black people about their voting experience, and present it as the norm?
Answer: Because his intention was to deceive.
